Journey Through Philippians

I have found that true contentment can only be found in our relationship with Jesus. It has taken me many years to realize this one truth. I have spent much money and time trying to fulfill the emptiness in my life with things. It has only been in the last ten years that I have truly understood that the fulfillment I was looking for could only come from my relationship with my Savior.

What does God want you to do? It’s quite simple. We must step out in faith and do the will of God, trusting Him for the strength we will need. Every need we have in life’s journey is at our disposal. We have the word, we can pray, and we can be discipled by other believers. There is one power source that we can always plug into at any time for guidance, comfort, and strength. That source is the Holy Spirit. God is on our side. The Scripture is true when it says, “we can do all things through Christ who gives us strength.” We just must trust in it, believe in it, and then live it.
