New Members Class

Our 4-week New Members Class covers the core values and beliefs of FBC Gonzales. After completing the class, new members become a new small group led by an established church member.

There are three ways to join FBC Gonzales. In any case, we ask that all new members attend our New Members' Class.​​

​

1. Baptism

Baptism is the first act of obedience after becoming a Christ follower. You can join the church by becoming a follower of Christ and then being baptized.​​

​

2. Membership Transfer

If you are already a Christ follower, have been baptized, and are a member of another Baptist church, you can join our church by providing us with info about your previous membership. We can then contact your former church to receive confirmation of your prior membership there.​

3. Statement of Faith

If you are a Christ follower and are baptized, but for some reason have not been part of a church, you can join by Statement of Faith. Joining by Statement of Faith means that you share the same core beliefs as FBC Gonzales and agree to live by those principles.
