New Members Class

Our 4-week New Members Class is designed to introduce you to the core values, beliefs, and mission of FBC Gonzales. After completing the class, new members are welcomed into the church and placed into a new small group led by an established church member, helping you connect and grow in community right away.

​How to Join FBC Gonzales

There are three ways to join FBC Gonzales. In every case, we ask that you complete our New Members Class.

Baptism

Baptism is the first step of obedience after becoming a follower of Jesus. You may join by professing faith in Christ and being baptized.​

​

Membership Transfer

If you are already a baptized believer and currently a member of another church, you can join by transferring your membership. We will contact your previous church to confirm your membership.

Statement of Faith

If you are a baptized believer, but not currently a member of a church, you can join by Statement of Faith. This means you affirm the core beliefs of FBC Gonzales and commit to live according to them.
